This is partly a record in case I lose the paper—again!—and partly to help draft the backdated entries later. Here's what the tour package looks like.
DAY 1 - KL - Fukuoka
Nothing special here. Take off at night. Sleep on board. Change planes in Singapore. Touchdown the next day. (Technically, you could call 騙人! on this one...*koff*)
DAY 2 - Fukuoka - Nagasaki
Touchdown. Get whisked off to Glover Gardens overlooking Nagasaki. Head for Peace Garden, Statue of Peace, Atomic Bomb Museum and...then...oh, come on. LOOK at the tourist group composition. Some people Malaysian. Some people Singaporean. What for go to blimming Chinatown?! Spend night in Nagasaki anyway.
DAY 3 - Nagasaki - Shimabara
Head for Huis Ten Bosch theme park and wander around Paleis Huis Ten Bosch, 'a life-size reproduction of the royal residence in the Netherlands.' Aloi, is that it? O_o; I foresee a lot of pictures being taken. Spend the night at Shimabara and check out an onsen.
DAY 4 - Shimabara-Kumamoto
Head for Kumamoto (yey!) and check out the 300-year-old Suizenji Park—which is just a park, the ~ji has gone. *pout* Proceed to Kumamoto Castle (ahhh, this I wanted to see) and then Kami Tori and Shimo Tori, major shopping belts.
DAY 5 - Kumamoto - Beppu
This day includes a visit to Mt. Aso National Park, the picturesque green Kusasenri, and the stop at Beppu to look at the human steamboats—I mean, hellish boiling hot onsen.
All this we are eschewing for, yep, Ultramanland.
DAY 6 - Beppu - Fukuoka
Again, Ultramanland. (I have things to do there, okei?!) The rest of the group is going on to Hello Kitty Land, Canal City Hakata and Hawks Town for a big big ol' shopping spree. If, however, someone had mentioned that CC Hakata contains the company store of Ultraman World M78, I might just have sat through pinkness and bargaining just to catch a glimpse of that. Dayyamn! x_x
DAY 7 - Fukuoka - KL
Perhaps some last-minute shopping before heading home, burbling happily all the way :D.
