I can has musical memory?
State of mind: annoyed
Current soundtrack: Samurai Slammin' - SAMURAI 7 - Kiru! (Hayashi Eitetsu, Wada Kaoru)
Pfleh. My insides do not like me today—which is why I spent most of it ripping music and making some playlists. Yes, all my playlists have horrible wordplay. It runs in the family, sorta like the Hapsburgs only the jaw doesn't stick out as much as the wit. ;)
Part of the main reason to go to Mecca Ultramanland this time is to rebuild my Ultraman music collection. Not that this was a conscious, planned decision or anything, mind you, but since I'll be there and I have the chance, I intend to assemble as complete a run as I can. It was during this Search For The Ultimate Compilation* that I realised something that horrified me. Muchly.
I've forgotten a huge chunk of my Ultraman lyrics.
Ow ow ow ow @#*~^!! Stop hitting me!
I think of my mind in this regard as a large book—turn enough pages and the appropriate info generally pops up. To open the book and realise there are sizable chunks missing from the Gaia/Cosmos sections is lightly unnerving. Where'd the 'koko kara ippo' lines go? What's the first verse 'dream(ing) on' for? What's the second verse 'beat(ing) on' for?! WTH is—yike, can't even remember the group's name—that strange girlband pontificating about in Lovin' You Lovin' Me?
I gotta dig up my old old OLD Ultraman tapes. That should at least serve as some refresher. (Yes, I made my own UM song tapes. With inane preteen commentary. Yes, I have a little casette player, SHURRUP ALREADY. =x_x=)
Male parental unit's planning to get in touch with a friend of his from uni—which is cool, I can totally get that. He wishes to help us book a hotel while ninjaing away from the tour group to take in Kumamoto (read: go to UMLand), and hints that it will be near and very cheap.
*pause for thought* Yanno, I would die of paiseh if he actually DID it, but if we end up in Mitsui Hotel gorramjesucrackers Verde? I would probably keel over in a fangasm. They shot the Evil Tiga arc in that area. It's literally across the road from UMLand. It might be too much for one's delicate constitution. XD
*...one of which has Nexus' Fight The Future but nothing else special. None of which have Noa's 2 image songs. Hey, they're good aright? Somewhat dodgy lyrics, but good.
